Our Marketing team is responsible for the entire strategic marketing programme and the end-to-end optimisation and governance of all marketing activities. They bring together people, process, data, channels, and technology to ensure marketing activity is efficient, effective, and commercially focused.

We are looking for a PPC Executive to support the delivery, optimisation, and growth of our paid media activity, with a primary focus on Paid Search (Google Ads and Social ads). This role is ideal for someone who is data-driven, commercially minded, and enjoys continuous testing and optimisation to improve performance.

You will play a key role in managing and optimising PPC campaigns, analysing performance data, and working closely with internal teams (and external partners where required) to ensure campaigns are delivering against business objectives.

Your Role & Key Responsibilities

PPC Campaign Management & Optimisation:  

  • Assist in the setup, management, and optimisation of PPC campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
  • Monitor daily performance including spend, conversions, CPA, and ROAS to ensure campaigns meet agreed KPIs.
  • Carry out ongoing keyword research, search query analysis, bid adjustments, and budget management.
  • Support the development and optimisation of Performance Max, Search, and video campaigns where applicable.

 

Ad Copy & Creative Support: 

  • Write and test clear, compelling, and compliant ad copy aligned with key USPs and landing pages.
  • Assist with A/B testing of ad copy, extensions, and landing page messaging to improve conversion rates.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure ad messaging aligns with wider marketing activity.

Reporting & Performance Analysis: 

  • Produce regular performance reports (weekly, and monthly) highlighting results, insights, and opportunities.
  • Analyse campaign data using Google Ads, GA4, and reporting tools to inform optimisation decisions.
  • Support the maintenance of performance trackers and dashboards to monitor PPC channel health.

Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with internal teams including marketing, compliance, data, and operations to ensure campaigns are accurate and aligned.
  • Assist with briefing and coordinating with external agencies or partners where required.
  • Support campaign planning and execution for new initiatives, promotions, or product launches.

Best Practice & Continuous Improvement: 

  • Stay up to date with PPC trends, platform updates, and industry best practice.
  • Proactively suggest ideas to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability of paid campaigns.
  • Assist with documentation of processes, learnings, and PPC best practices.

Ad-Hoc Marketing Support: 

  • Support wider marketing initiatives when required.
  • Assist with invoice checking, reporting administration, and campaign documentation.
  • Help with other ad-hoc marketing tasks as directed.

Essential and Desirable

  • At least 2–3 years’ experience in a PPC or performance marketing role (in-house or agency).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads; experience with Meta Ads is desirable.
  • Good understanding of PPC fundamentals including keywords, bidding, Quality Score, and conversion tracking.
  • Experience using Google Analytics (GA4) analytics tool.
  • Strong analytical skills with confidence working with data and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data analysis, reporting).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly for ad copy.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a desire to learn and develop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Management
    • Develop, edit, and publish engaging and best practice content across Direct Mail, Inserts, offline marketing channels, websites, blogs, social media, email, and other digital channels.
    • Tailor messaging to suit different brand voices while maintaining consistency in tone and style.
    • Collaborate Marketing, Operational, product and commercial teams to deliver compelling campaigns.
